The board met on May 16, 2000. Among the issues discussed: GARAGE LEASE The board unanimously resolved to terminate the garage portion of the commercial lease, assuming the required number of eligible shareholders agree. The shareholder vote will be confidential. An informational meeting was set for June 7, 2000 at 8:30 PM in the exercise room. The official shareholder meeting was set for a vote on June 27 at 8:30 PM in the exercise room. Any eligible shareholder may vote anytime before the June 27th meeting, or at that meeting. The sponsor and the owners of the 2 other apartments designated as "unsold shares" are not eligible to vote. The lease will be terminated if 2/3 of the eligible units vote in favor. The building originally had 137 units. The sponsor owns 30, and the other holders of unsold shares own 2. So the goal will be 70 votes in favor of termination. If you did not receive a proxy please call Susan Kim at 212 242 7919. MURAL The board voted unanimously to set aside $1,000 for a mural or set of murals to be created for the stairwell space leading to the roof garden. Mark Lilien is soliciting proposals and sketches from a local artist and some painting students at Parsons. If you have any suggestions or know any artists who might be interested please call Mark at 212 929 4619. The board will review the materials submitted for a final decision. QUESTIONS?
